That said, really, why don't you purchase and train with the SAO version of the Legion? I personally believe that carrying a "cocked and locked" SAO and training to release the safety then getting off a GOOD first shot is better than training to carry a "hot" DA/SA and remembering to not pull completely off target on your first shot. It's difficult to get off an accurate first DA shot, in spite of concentration and training! (haters can bash me, I know) They insisted that the first pull out of the holster be a DA pull. I spent two entire days at an advanced defensive handgun training class with the DA/SA Legion P229. I actually own an X-Five Carry, a P320 X-Five, and two Legion P229s- one with the SAO trigger and the other with the DA/SA trigger. It is quite intuitive and seems like it is a strong winner, but I would including to observe if I can listen to from some of you P30 owners out now there, or if you're photo one but wear't personal one.All good comments, but nobody has hopped into the triggers of the two weapons: The P320 is a striker fired, and the P226, at least the Legions, can be purchased with either a DA/SA or SAO trigger. L like everything abóut the weapon as I manage it in the store. Quote Quote Quote I have P226 in 22, 9mm and 40 S&W. the 229 has performed flawlessly even though he shoots the gun allot and does not clean it that often.

He has not had any issues with the gun at all. Today I have the opportunity to buy a like brand-new (I'michael presuming a manufacturing plant reconditioned gun like Sig will) P30 9mmichael, and I have it arranged aside át my LGS. A friend has one and after shooting it that was enough to sell me on it. I experienced to modify my whole grip to accommodate it therefore that my browse would not touch the lever locking the slip back, and at the end of the time I just didn't wish to do that when no other weapon I liked pushed me to do that. Somé six a few months and a couple thousand times afterwards I emerged to the conclusion that thé VP9 wásn't the gun for me generally b/c of the placement of the slide locking mechanism. I opted instead to proceed with thé VP9 at thé time it came out basically b/c I regarded the G30 to be too costly ($900ish at the time I discovered about its presence), so when the VP9 came out I hopped ón it. I'm quite acquainted with thé Sig, but l feel and possess been intrigued by the P30 ever since my relative presented his to me various years back. l've appeared at the FN and CZ, but these two really appear to match me much better. I've been recently contemplating getting a De uma/SA pistol for EDC/GP protection, and I've really narrowed it down tó these two.
